Fellas,

This is Scott Sieber, your National Pledgemaster. I would like to keep our conversation going from Conclave about chapter numbers, rushing, pledging, and the idea of "quality over quantity."

If you recall we talked at length at Conclave about how to solve the problems chapters are having with low numbers, while at the same time putting the focus back on being a FRATERNITY. We talked about the difficulties bigger campuses face with recruitment, especially against other national religious organizations on campus. I also brought up the subject of the character/readiness of the young men we are bringing in and that STE is not going to be for everyone, however it does not make them (or us) any less compassionate or Christian.

Guys, if we are going to move forward, all ideas and discussion needs to be welcome and brought out on the table. Don't be afraid to speak up and let us know what you and your chapters are thinking. Individually we may not have all the answers, but together we can accomplish anything. Pray for guidance and wisdom, and that we can follow the path God has for this brotherhood.
